Auction to Help Needy Family

January 19, 2009 | Comments Off

On December 31 I posted about Liz and Katy, a mom and her 16-year old daughter who found them selves homeless. Katy has been blogging their experience  and my fellow author Brandilyn Collins has been behind what has become a huge nationwide movement to provide help for this family. They have been featured on several local TV programs, including on that will air on ABC tonight.

Liz and Katy have now moved into an apartment, but of course, continue to have many needs. To that end, Gemma Halliday at Romanichicks  is sponsoring an auction to help them. I’ve donated an autographed copy of Why Didn’t You Warn Me? How to Deal with Challenging Group Members to the cause. You can find the auction here If you want to bid on my book, it’s #2124, but there are literally dozens donations from books to services, so you will definitely be able to find something of interest. Check it out and make a bid. Help Liz and Katy get back on their feet.
