When a Group Member Is Emotionally Troubled

CT’s BuildingSmallGroups.com has just released a new download called “Ministering to Difficult Group Members.” It features four articles on dealing with difficult personality types, including one by Les Parrott called “Coping with People Who Beef, Bite, and Bellyache:
How To Handle Difficult Relationships In Your Small Group.” I can’t wait to read that one.

My article is called “When a Group Member Is Emotionally Troubled: Professional Advice for Ministering to Wounded People in a Group Setting” and deals with people who are severely troubled. These are some of the most difficult people to deal with in a group, and frankly, it was difficult to write.

The download, which is available for $14.95, allows you to make up to 1,000 copies. This is a great resource for churches and small group coaches.
