Dealing with Divorce

Divorce is certainly a challenge. We hate it, yet it’s becoming increasingly prevalent in the church. It includes seven articles plus additional resources. I’m delighted that my article, Living in the Messies, is included in the package.

Living in the Messies is based on the premise that we have our best opportunity to minister to people in a mess in the group setting. Our human (and Christian) tendency is to want to distance ourselves from brothers and sisters who have gotten themselves into a mess. But if they leave, either voluntarily or under discipline, we lose the opportunity to speak into their lives, and they lose the benefits of community. Sometimes healing is long and messy. Are you willing to hang in there with them? My article gives you more reasons it’s worth it.
