2. Avoid the superstar syndrome.
3. Keep your teaching understandable.
4. Pay compliments.
5. Encourage people to spend time together outside the weekly meeting.

Her point is well taken. We need to make sure that in our exuberance, we do no harm, especially to vulnerable and challenging members. In fact, the more challenging and needy members require the most concern, as Paul points out in 1 Cor. 12:22. Our groups need to model healthy relationships in order to bring every member to maturity in Christ. This is especially important for those who lack this in their everyday lives.
