Death in the Family

Edwin Dale Kaserman 1916-2007

My step dad went into the hospital about two weeks ago. We arrived on Monday and he passed away Wednesday. God was gracious and allowed him to pass reasonably quickly and peacefully. The memorial service will be Monday. I’m busy dealing with a lot of arrangements and my mother, and not thinking a lot about small groups right now. Relatives began arriving today. I’ll be back as soon as I can.

While I’m gone, who has seen the book? What do you think of it?

    Hi Pat,

Again, I’m so sorry about your step dad. He looks like such a kind man.

Been meaning to drop you a line since last week. I got your book! I started reading it! It’s wonderful! I can’t wait to write a review for our church newsletter! And I’m already thinking of people I know who must get a copy. You did a terrific job writing it. Your heart for people and your heart for the Lord shines through on every page. I am not a small group leader but I am learning so much, about church and community and loving people. A super book :)

    Lynn
