Developing a Vision When You’re Not a Visionary

You’re a leader, but you’re not a visionary. What do you do? Kevin Miller, Vice President of Christianity Today, has written an excellent article with six tips and lots of examples to help leaders develop and follow their vision. These are tips that are can actually help lay people do their ministry better. . He says:
1. Tie in to a bigger vision that’s already in place.
2. Pray and wait on God.
3. Gather a group and jointly develop a vision.
4. Listen to the people you want to help.
5. Stay in your gifts and let them guide you.
6. Solve some problem right in front of you.
